A rich and varied landscape and one of the biggest nature reserves in Poland.
The Grassland Nature Reserve covers 108.54 ha, and was founded in 1959 to protect the habitat of rare grassland plants and is one of the largest such nature reserves in Poland. The area is covered with rare pine forest with the intensely regenerating common dogwood and blackthorn. In the undergrowth there are numerous grassland plant species, such as: pheasant’s eye, golden flax, slender-leaved elecampane, fragrant orchid, balck false hellebore.
